The traditional Tamizhar Thirunaal " Thai Pongal" - the festival of Harvest, Harmony and Happiness was celebrated with a banging bash at Gurukulam.
The students set on their hotspot for celebrating their class pongals respectively with more fun and fervor. The entire campus was embellished elegantly with the flavor of village.
The event commenced by inviting the Chief Guest Correspondent Amba with the traditional touch and torches made out of earthen lamps.
The sequence of folk songs & traditional Hip-hops were the highlight of the dazzling day. A special pooja & chanting were performed to the ultimate source of Sun God "Surya Narayana" for the prosperity & productivity of our mother nation.
The most significant part of the celebration was the jolly ride arranged on the Bullock carts to give Gurukulites a complete feel and festive zest of our villages.
