GURUKULA ANNUAL SPORTS MEET

          Sporting not only lends physical fitness but also grooms our mind henceforth giving mental ability. Here sportsmanship is given the topmost priority rather than the mere participation. The sporty attitude of the students are much provoked, promoted and proved by bringing out their valour and letting them to the spotlight through sports competitions. Eventually, aspirants are so enthusiastic and energetic set up their career goals to become famous sports person and athletes by laying strong foundation through these sports meets.

          The yearly inhouse sports meet for our Gurukula children has conducted for almost 2 days on 25/10/16 & 26/10/16 in our campus. Participants of different sports events gathered and exhibited their physical abilities.  The sports meet inauguration commenced vitally in full swing with great pomp and splendour. Achiever's targets were fixed by the the Physical Education incharges.

          At the outset, a formal start to sports meet was headed by our Rev. Correspondent Mathaji Yatiswari Ananta Premapriya Amba- an able captain of our Gurukulam. Sports torch was lit to inform the commencement of the game.

The following sports events were conducted at sub junior,  junior, senior and super senior levels respectively.

Finally the winners of the various levels securing I, II and III place for the above events were declared. The top achievers were appreciated and rewarded by our Ambas and Maajis motivating them to achieve greater heights in the future sports stardom.

STUDENTS' EXCURSION

                   After a term long hard work, it’s time for the students to rejoice and reverberate. Students of classes 6^th, 7^th and 8^th had their wonderful day out to rejuvenate themselves.

 A jolly trip was arranged to Sathanur dam where they enjoyed to the core. At Sathanur, students visited Dam and Hydro Electric Power Plant. 

They went into the processing tunnel to experience and study the production of electricity emerging from the energy of running water by the process of hydro electricity. 

Later they had an adventurous sightseeing at the Crocodile Park .During dusky evening; a spiritual retreat was experienced by entering Thiruvannamalai -The Land of Fire. After offering a soulful prayer at the Lord’s feet they all experienced a complete excursion. Everyone were served and relished with the delicious treats throughout the day. At the end of the day, Students were back to campus packed with more information as well as spiritual stuff.

NAVARATHIRI CELEBRATIONS - 2016

Navarathiri or the festival of nine days was celebrated with the blooming flavor of festivity in our campus. This year Golu Mahotsavam was completely based on the theme from “Kandhapuranam” that adorns the greatness of “Kandha Kadavul Lord Muruga”, the God of Karunyas and Karmavimokshana. He is the Lord who destroys our evil out of Karma and blesses us with Power & Prosperity. 

LORD MURUGA IN RAJA ALANGARAM

The entire set of this golu depicted an incident from the History of Demon Idumba and his devoted love that led to the formation & everlasting existence of Lor Dandayudhapani Swamy 

Temple at Palani.

The exact replica of the Lord was designed in the form of impressive idol at the backdrop of hills and temple. The interior decorations were displayed and designed in a grand & gorgeous way. Lord Muruga was dresses up right from Aandi Kolam to Raja Alangaram. Event the sevas and pujas rituals were followed as in Palani Temple. All the spectators including celebrities, public icons & common men were blessed with the golden opportunity to perform Palabishegam to Lord Muruga and Kumkum archana for their welfare.

Traditional Kavadi was also offered to Lord Muruga piously. Continuous Prasad distribution was done thorough-out the festival for all nine consecutive days from till night. Our Gurukula students have made an extradionary presentation and lively narration about the sthalapurana & other visual setup in the backdrop. Their remarkable oration during this occasion made the viewers spellbound and it went viral in the social media across the globe. Beyond the expectation this Navostava 2016 was a mega extravaganza on the whole.  

A GLORIOUS LEARNING CENTRE FOR GENERATIONS

MY DEAR GURUKULA PARENTS,        

              In ancient history of our Motherland, Gurukulam was at the pinnacle as an "Uncomparable Educational Institution", which was highly respected by all sastra of people from the common man to king of the country. Ancient Gurukula system was something unique in every aspect. It tutored students in 64 branches of knowledge. Such Saints and Rishis who renounced everything for the welfare of the society. Such saintly people had produced great personalities like Sri Rama, Sri Krishna, Arjuna, Bhima, Karna, Ashwathama and so on. The lists of great personalities were endless. Those great persons can never be erased by the crucial factor of 'Time'!.

         Today, ' the same divine power' has started to work through our SRKV Gurukulam, Ulundurpet, with the same spiritual energy an renunciation and service as twin deals. Certainly our Gurukula students are going to become the strong pillars of our nation. So, our gurukulites are meticulously trained to become intellectually sharp, emotionally matured and spiritually energized to compete any situation. Definitely a fine day is going to come with a tremendous social change. At that moment, the society will surely request our gurukulites to give guidance in all aspects of social affairs.

    It is the first time in the history of our Gurukulam"action oriented Gurukula life: is duly documented. It is not something giving news through this bulletin, 'but every word here is going to speak the volume of historical events to the present and future students and parents of our Gurukulam'. Every Gurukuite is being prepared to become 'a celebrated leader' with notable qualities which will undoubtedly be appreciated by the 'international' management giants, educationists and statesmen of our time.

   This blog as a fresh flower blossomed with divine perfume and fragrance is placed in front of you.

      Our Gurukula parents are really superior in many things; especially they are more sincere and enthusiastic in knowing the activities held in Gurukulam. Because they are very sure that whatever programmes conducted in Gurukulam would be kindling the thought process, knowledge and talents of Gurukulites into the right and progressive path. 

      The Gurukulites will have different kings of exposure to enhance their skills in all aspects. All the programmes would be held with the same vitality.

  

     In the divine atmosphere of Gurukulam, the spiritual vibration coupled with the loving care and guidance of the Sanyasin sisters are grooming the Gurukulites properly.  

     The training, which the students undergo everyday, metamorphoses their entire brain and mental activities into the personalities of high capacities.

  

     Te experience which students get in the Gurukulam would be reflected throughout their life both in the career and family. The programmes will kindle their inquisitive nature towards obtaining the knowledge and make them holistic in their approach.  Whatever is required for modern age would be taught and instilled in the minds of the students with the right attitude and culture as in the proven age old system of Gurukula.

Envisaging the teachings of Swami Vivekananda and relying on the age old Indian system of value based education, Sri Ramakrishna Vidyalaya Gurukulam at Ulundurpet, Tamil Nadu was started as 100% fully Residential Matric. Hr. Sec. School in 1988.
